This a lovely tasting salad dressing to dress up any salad. The secret ingredient in this is lavender simple syrup.  Lavender Salad Dressing & Marinade
1/2 cup olive oil 1/2 cup white wine vinegar 3 Tbl lavender simple syrup 1 Tbl dijon mustard 1 clove garlic pinch of salt & pepper Place all ingredients in a salad dressing jar and give it a shake. Drizzle over your salad or use as a marinade.

Nothing like making your guests feel welcome with a fun guest bathroom makeover. Try this towel folded over and add a mini bouquet of dried lavender. Just adds that special touch. Add a cute wood bathroom tray with some fun lavender products to solve your guests issues and make them feel comfortable and relaxed. You know how sometimes you don't sleep very well when not in your own bed? Combat that with lavender sleep spray. Another issue...Ummm...you know how you hate to go to the bathroom at someone else's house and leave unpleasant scent lingering. Use Lavender room spray to keep the odors eliminated. We also like to put out a new bar of lavender oatmeal soap perfect for those who have sensitive skin. Lavender lotion perfect for dry winter months where your skin is more dry and itchy. We add a little lavender essential oil that our guests can use if they have a headache or stomach issues. In addition we add a little lavender perfume oil, because it simply makes one feel pampered.  Recently had a wine company looking to flavor a Rose wine with lavender. They were inquiring the best methods on doing this. With a little taste testing and exploration we discovered a beautiful way to add lavender extract that accents both the wine and the lavender. See for yourself with our recipe below.  Lavender Infused Wine 1 bottle of wine 1 tsp lavender extract Add 1 tsp of lavender extract to a bottle of wine of your choosing, replace cork or cap and lightly shake to combine. When using lavender extract we feel if you leave the bottle to sit for 24 hours the flavors have time to mingle and blend together. Our favorites have been Riesling, rose, and pinot rose. Because we like our wine to sit and mingle its flavors it isn't as easy to flavor sparkling champagnes and wines as they will lose the sparkle. That has to left for wine companies as they can flavor their batch before adding the carbonation. We would love to see what you try with lavender extract #norwoodlavenderfarm.
