Florals are making an impact in many events and weddings for 2020! So many versatile ways to use flowers in food whether it is uses as fancy floral ice cubes, sprinkled in salads, or salad dressings, frosting and decorating your cake with lavender frostings, drizzling cheese with lavender honey and desserts, flavoring cocktails or used as a skewer it is adding the dramatic, romantic effect that so many are going for in their menu planning.
Lavender is the floral favorite when it comes to elevating the romance and flavor in whatever you choose to put it in.
Lavender is being used not only in cakes, but as lavender cream frostings or fillings. Decorated on the outside of the cake makes a simple minimalistic but sophisticated impact. Bakeries are doing this by adding lavender extract, and Culinary Lavender. If your baker needs some guidelines we have that here.

Are you familiar with Champagne or the differences between Champagne, Prosecco and Brut? This cocktail recipe recipe made me do some research to find out which would be the best paired with our Lavender Simple Syrup. Champagne only comes from a province in France known as Champagne. This region produces sparkling white wine that bears its name in modern-day France. Many of the sparkling wines come with a hefty price tag as well.
For a more budget friendly alternative to Champagne, Prosecco is a lighter and cheaper option. It's made from white Prosecco grapes and has become increasingly popular at its more frugal side. It is a younger version of Champagne, but made throughout the world.
Another budget friendly sparkling wine choice is Brut. Brut is a much drier and less sweet version of champagne and prosecco.
So we will leave it with you on which you choose Champagne, Prosecco or Brut.
Perfect cocktail to celebrate a special event, wedding or New Years parties!
6 oz of Champagne, Prosecco or Brut
2 tsp Lavender Simple Syrup
Simply add 2 tsp Lavender Simple Syrup to a champagne flute glass top with champagne. Garnish with our Lavender Cocktail Picks.
Lavender is a winner in the wedding scene. The fragrance captures the guests and brings a calm among the bridal party. Lavender has a lure for so many as it is a flower that neither is masculine or feminine and enjoyed by both females or males. They are extra popular in cocktails, tall centerpieces and for bridesmaids, but continue to be a great "theme" wedding idea.
Elegance and simple beauty with dried lavender standing on its own as a bouquet or placed on a table by itself or with greenery.
Lavender and greenery filled bouquets will be a must have for 2019. With the addition of more purple hues with lavender replacing blush tones and rust colors replacing flashy metallics.
Still an environmentally friendly option to toss lavender on the bride and groom for wedding toss.
Lavender Cocktails or Mocktails take on a whole new meaning with our 4# party bag of Wedding, Shower, or Party Packs Lavender Lemonade that serves 100 or our Lavender Cocktail Picks to add that special touch!
