I am what you may call a simple bartender. I don't want tons of ingredients in my cocktails...maybe it is because when I decide I want one, I want it now. Reason two, if you have guests who want a second one, your not in the kitchen half hour while they are waiting on you. Well anyway....there you have it, why I am a simple bartender.
This recipe was created out of some inspiration of my pear trees outside. loaded with fruit ready and ripe to pick. I thought how it might make for a fun cocktail. I was looking to create something for fall, with sweetness of summer and a little spice to warm you for fall. With careful investigation of the liquor store I was able to find pear vodka...and not just any pear vodka. A local well known and delicious one made by, Wild Roots.
So the concoctions began as I thought a moscow mule style would be the perfect choice with the spicy ginger flavor...so from there here is the recipe. I know you'll love it as much as I do!
Cheers and Enjoy!
