1/2 cup butter, cut into 1/2” pieces
Shortbread Cookie Mix
Preheat oven to 350℉. In a medium sized bowl using a mixer combine butter and shortbread cookie mix until dough pulls together into a ball (about 3 minutes). If dough remains dry and crumbly you can use an additional 1-2 Tbsp of butter. Chill dough for 30 minutes in refrigerator. Roll dough out on a floured surface to 1/4” thickness. Use a knife or cookie cutter to cut desired shape. Place 1/2” apart on undressed cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until bottom of cookie is golden. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
