We love a fun breakfast and this Lavender Monkey Bread is so tasty and fun! I love my mini bundt pan from Pampered Chef, but you can totally use a regular size bundt pan or even muffin pans! Lavender Monkey Bread
Buttermilk Biscuits- 1 container ( I used Trader Joe's) 1/2 cup Lavender Simple Syrup 1/4 cup Lavender Sugar or just sugar works too... 1/4 cup pecans, chopped 3 Tbsp butter Preheat oven to 350 ℉ and spray your bundt cake. Open your biscuit container and cut them in 1/4's. Pour 1/4 cup of Lavender Simple Syrup on the bottom of your pan and top with your pecan pieces. Melt you butter and dip each of your biscuits into the butter and then roll into your sugar layer them into your baking dish. Once you have layered all the biscuits into baking pan, drizzle with remaining Lavender Simple Syrup and any remaining butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes for smaller baking dishes and 25-30 for larger baking pans or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before turning over you baking dish onto your serving platter. Serve while warm.

Playing around the kitchen today as I was wanting to make a bread. I thought how can I use my Lavender Scone Mix into a streusel bread. With a little mixing and a little thinking, and a couple trials...here is what I came up with. It is lovely bread that you'll want to gobble up right from the oven. It tastes delicious with a touch of butter and honey too. If you don't have time to make the bread, our scone mix is super fast, just 5 minute prep time and 13-15 cook time. But if you have more time to spend in the kitchen this bread is simply delicious! Lavender Streusel Bread
Lavender Scone Mix 1 cup milk 2 eggs 6 Tbl butter (softened) 1 tsp vanilla Preheat the oven to 375℉. In medium sized mixing bowl combine Lavender Scone Mix, 1 cup of milk, eggs, 6 Tbl butter, and vanilla. Stir until ingredients are combined. Set aside and make streusel. Streusel 1/4 cup lavender sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tsp cinnamon 2 Tbl melted butter In another small mixing bowl combine sugars and cinnamon. Then pour the melted butter over the top of sugar and mix until combined. Spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray. Then add half of bread batter spread to edges of pan. Add half of the streusel and top with remaining batter and layer last of the streusel on top. Bake for 40 minutes, then cover with foil and bake another 20-25 minutes until done. Once baked let cool for 10 minutes and then you can remove it from pan and serve. |
